We’re in need of various food and drink items for each event. Any contribution is greatly appreciated. We invite you to visit the sign-up links below to let us know how you can help!

Thursday, November 10th: “Soup”er Salad Bar Dinner
Friday, November 11th: Bucky’s Snack Bar
PTA Membership cards and school directories will be sent home to PTA members this week and next. Feel free to contact Heather Leonard with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Green Envelope Fundraiser Kicks Off Friday!
This year, our goal is to fully fund our budget with fewer and more effective fundraisers. Look for more information this week about our new Green Envelope collection.
How it works:
- Families donate any amount. 100% goes to benefit our students and teachers (unlike other fundraisers). That’s it. No products to buy or sell, nothing to make
- You can take a tax deduction
- The money goes to activities such as assemblies, student planners, Family Fun events, staff grants, staff appreciation, and much, much more …
- All students whose families donate at least $15 will be entered in a drawing to win 1 of 2 Family Fun Packs!
The Green Envelope will run for two weeks. Thank you for your help in making this a great year for our students and teachers!
The National PTA Reflections contest is underway. Through Reflections, students can share their artistic talents in photography, visual art, literature, film, dance or song. Thousands of students will reflect on this year’s theme, “Tell Us Your Story,” and create original works of art.
If your child is interested in participating, click here for a copy of the rules and click here for the entry form. Students may enter in more than one category. Entries are due to the DCES front office by the end of school on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Our first Family Fun Night – a Monster Mash dance with Bristol Sounds DeeJays – is going to be spooktacular! We hope to see everyone on Friday, October 28, from 6-8 p.m. at DCES. Come in costume! (But please no inappropriate or scary costumes or weapons). Non-members pay $5 but can also join the PTA at the event.
